I’m shocked to be writing this because the many shortfalls that occur in the State of Alabama seem to preclude intelligent policies. Yet! Behold! Alabama is an island of sanity in the Deep South where in the states surrounding Alabama mask ordinances are only partially implemented or not implemented at all.
My congratulations to Governor Kay Ivy and Dr. Scott Harris our State Health Officer and the many others who have been repeatedly protecting Alabamians with the mask ordinance.
If you have been tracking the course of the Pandemic this year you are aware that the highest numbers of confirmed Covid-19 cases are hitting this week. Stay safe everyone!
